Thin Client Management Solution Design
Juhaňák, Filip ; Mikulka, Pavel (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This thesis focuses on designing and developing a centralized management and configuration solution for the thin clients offered by the OldanyGroup s.r.o. company. The purpose of this application is to simplify the thin client administration and control for customers as well as to improve the competitiveness of the whole thin client solution offered by the company.
Communication Environment for Spectral Analyzer Control
Smělík, Martin ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this master‘s thesis was design a new communication interface for spectral analyzer Seaward EMC Spectrum Receiver, which instead of the RS 232 interface is connected to a computer via the USB interface. This thesis contains both hardware and software solution based on the analysis and comprehensive understanding of communication between the spectrum analyzer and the computer. Further it contains the whole realization of communication interface and an example of measurement of the EMC problems too. Last part of this thesis was a realization of the automatic measurement via the development environment MATLAB and Agilent VEE, which was used for measurement of noise background.
A Web-Based Application to Search Online Library Catalogues
Polách, Ondřej ; Šebek, Michal (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The Internet is since its inception, source of various informations. Their retrieve was standardized with the advent of Z39.50 protocol, which today is still evolving and it also serves as the cornerstone for modern retrieve information protocols. Protocols group SRU/SRW is example of new protocols which are oriented into service-oriented architecture. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement a unified web-based information gateway for retrieve informations from various library catalogues from single location. Development platform will be .NET and Mono. The biggest challenge is to use WCF services with system's client-side build on Silverlight technology, and last, but not least, is the solve problems arising from the current incomplete compatibility between Mono and .NET, especially with regard to these two components. Both will be host in ASP.NET web application. The main requirement is portability solution on various platforms. If manage to achieve compatibility between Mono and .NET, application can run on all platforms that are supported by Mono technology.
Penetration Testing Application for DoS Based Web Vulnerabilities
Vrána, Jaroslav ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Drozd, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with a issue of a DoS vulnerability in web applications. At first, there are described principles of a computer security, general principles of the DoS and a penetration testing. Further text describes a OWASP Testing Guide v3 for the DoS in web applications. There is a design of own application on basis own experiences. This application is implemented and tested by the web applications.
Automatic Design of Web Applications
Žilka, Radek ; Jirák, Ota (referee) ; Ruttkay, Ladislav (advisor)
This project is focused on software design and implementation. This software represents a generator of web information system source code developed in ASP.NET 2.0. The information system requires the SQL database. The source code generated by this application is the base of the next development in Visual Studio 2008. This project inspects similar generators too.
Displaying .NET Libraries References
Prajs, Karel ; Korček, Pavol (referee) ; Křivánek, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with an analyse of references of libraries and its graphical representation. First part of document introduces some options of solution with focus on reflection (to analyse references) and magnetic-spring model (to generate graph). Second part deals with implementation of these methods, its connection and integration into graphical user interface.
Thin Client Design
Juhaňák, Filip ; Mikulka, Pavel (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with designing of the hardware configuration and the software equipment of a new thin client device, which is designated to effectively replace the foreign-made thin clients in OldanyGroup company’s product offering. The design also includes development of support programs and utilities.
